Plans for 2022

This is what the Catholic Archivist will be doing this year:

1: We will move to Wordpress, since it will allow us to improve the quality of our blog. For that we need a Bluehost account and that requires money, but we will inform you in case we need monetary help.

2: We will be uploading and downloading more content in Spanish. Hispanic countries have a lot of people in the novus ordo, so it is very important to remember them too. Since I live in Mexico I may access novus ordo seminaries and ask them to give me the old books they never use. I don't expect a lot of luck, but the Internet Archive has more books in english. We will also look for books in other languages like Polish, French, Italian and Latin.

3: We will try to find a way of sharing PDF documents without depending on Google Drive. In case our account is lost, we can still be able to share, download and upload documents for you.

4: We will be learning coding. I started an HTML and CSS course in the Sololearn app. Coding can help us to improve the quality of our blog and our preserving.

5: We may start asking for donations, because this will help us to preserve Catholic documents offline, for people to access if we have future Internet shortages and increased censorship. This requires donations because we are planning to buy:

1: USB's

2: A printing machine

3: Printing paper

4: A Hardrive to store as much content as posible.

6: I notice my blog tends to be quite boring - lists and lists of books - and I would wish it to be more friendly for newcomers. I may post excerpts of the books I find so people come and visit more frequently.  Any other observation will be gratefully received.
